What is Compliance Packaging?

Compliance packaging refers to the dispensing of medications in a clearly organized and labeled blister pack. 

Instead of dispensing prescribed medications in separate containers or vials, the Pharmacy provides a customized patient medication package (Compliance Package).

 Each compartment is labeled, as to indicate the day and time, or period of time, that the contents are to be taken (Example: Breakfast, Lunch, Supper or Bedtime)

The medication grid in each Compliance Pack makes it is easier for the patient to read and allows them to confirm the accuracy of the each cards.

 FAQs

  • We can start preparing Compliance packages after consultation with YOU, your caregiver or your prescriber.

    We are able to prepare your Prescription medications, Vitamins and Supplements in a Compliance Pack.
     Depending on your medications and the need for assessment, we prepare One, Two or Four Week Supply of your medications in Compliance Pack.

    We always accommodate extra supply needed during vacation and holidays.

    Your Compliance Pack is prepared and ready for you to pick up the week before you start, unless there are frequent or anticipated changes.

    When you are ready and it is the time to take the dose of your medication/s, you just need to punch it out of your Compliance Pack!
